Start now, finish later
Tap Start shift now to save your start time and hourly rate. Your shift stays saved when the app closes. You can record one continuous unpaid break, then tap Finish shift to review and correct the end time, rate and extras before saving. Weekly totals and CSV include completed shifts only. Open shifts are included in JSON backups.
Optional reminders
Choose a reminder when starting and allow notifications. Finishing or discarding cancels it. Focus settings may delay or silence notifications. If you forget to finish, correct the actual start and end times; a completed entry must last between one minute and 24 hours. A reminder never ends a shift automatically.
Why is this different from my payslip?
Amounts are gross estimates based on your entries and settings. Taxes, deductions, daily overtime, holiday premiums and employer-specific rounding are not included. Check your hourly rates, breaks, week start and overtime settings.
How do overnight shifts work?
Choose the actual next-day end date. The app counts elapsed minutes in your saved work time zone and splits shifts across week boundaries. Record one continuous unpaid break, or use separate work segments for separate breaks.
How do I move my records to another iPhone?
Use Reports → Save backup. Keep the JSON file private. On the other device choose Settings → Restore backup. Review the confirmation: this replaces the current ledger. A local copy of the previous ledger is retained and can be exported.
Can I change currency?
The currency is locked while completed or open shifts exist to avoid silently relabelling earnings. Export your records before starting a new ledger. No currency conversion is performed.
